Wisconsin Tops Men’s Eight and Women’s Lightweight Eight Polls; Princeton Tops Men's Lightweight Poll

The University of Wisconsin earned the top spot in this week's USRowing men's varsity eight and women's lightweight eight collegiate coaches' polls. Princeton University topped the men's lightweight eight poll.
Wisconsin took the top spot in the men's varsity eight poll, earning all 17 first-place votes. The University of Washington ranked second, while the University of California ranked third. Harvard University and Stanford University tied for fourth position.
Wisconsin received all eight first-place votes to earn the top spot in the women's lightweight eight poll for the sixth week in a row. Radcliffe and Stanford tied for second place. Princeton University and Georgetown University rounded out the top five.
Princeton received 10 of 11 first-place votes to earn the No. 1 ranking in the men's lightweight eight poll. Harvard, who received the other first-place vote, ranked second. Georgetown University, the United States Naval Academy and Yale University rounded out the top five.
