Jamie is a student in the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at the National Institutes of Health. He combines medical training at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine with doctoral research at Oxford University Cardiac Metabolism Research Group. His fellowship is funded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) where he studies mitochondrial function in the Laboratory of Cardiac Energetics.
